3MT Competition Overview
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is widely known by graduate students and the research community globally as an eminent research communication competition. It is a truly unique competition for graduate research students to explain and present their research in a compelling way to a non-specialist audience in 3 minutes or less. First introduced by the University of Queensland in 2008, 3MT has now gained wide popularity and acceptance in many universities worldwide.
In Brunei Darussalam, the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) 3MT competition is a semester event organized by the centre for lifelong learning to motivate and inspire its graduate students to share their research findings with the larger research community while at the same time promoting research culture and an energizing academic environment.
UBD 3MT Competition 2022
